Meet the founder
Dr. Christiaan Desmond
Founder and Principal, Mountain Park Group
Christiaan founded Mountain Park Group in 2009 and has more than 20 years of experience securing and managing large-scale public and philanthropic funding for colleges, workforce agencies, nonprofits and businesses.
He has won and overseen individual awards from $500,000 to $8 million, with funding from the U.S. Department of Education, Department of Labor, National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health and SBIR programs, as well as major private foundations.
His work centers on workforce development, advanced manufacturing and education systems. He also brings more than 20 years of shared governance experience across multiple states. As a current higher education leader, he knows what institutions need from a partner because he works inside one.
